Overview

A destination homepage concept for Queensland, Australia, shaped around supplied coastal, city and rainforest photography. Bold condensed typography, lime accents and staggered square transitions connect an immersive scroll journey with galleries, destination tabs and paired Field Notes stories. This is a portfolio concept, not an official tourism website or client commission. Trip planning and travel-ideas forms show local preview responses; no details are sent and no bookings are made.

How I Built It

  1. Visual direction

Adapted a locally bundled Webflow layout into a Queensland travel concept, using supplied photographs, a condensed display face and a bright destination palette.

  2. Interaction

Refined the five-row square transitions, sticky coastal cards, outline typography, photo galleries and destination tabs while preserving the existing scroll engine.

  3. Responsive delivery

Refined mobile navigation, readable text, swipeable Places tabs and the paired photo stories, then packaged the homepage with local fonts, images and scripts.
