Hue Help an NGO registered in the UK but based in Hue has welcomed their new site built by Yeah Can. Everybody is thrilled with the design and the ease with which the site can be updated by dedicated staff. Their last request was for assistance to set up their Mailchimp account so they could improve their mail campaigns.

Hue Help intended to use their mailing list to publicise their new site. Their mailing list is extensive and they wanted to make contact to show off their new site. Setting up a mail campaign facility with Mailchimp was the best solution.

It’s important that Hue Help’s website has a fair amount of traffic and that the keywords for volunteer in Vietnam move the site to the front page for Google search. The more popular the site becomes the easier it is to create high ranking search words.

Team Yeah Can set up the first email and assisted along the way to make this a smooth running operation. Hue Help will be able to mail out on a regular basis. This first mail will promote the new website but will also campaign for some funding for their swimming project. Hue has a three month period where floods occur regularly. Teaching swimming is vital to keep the youngsters safe and able to cope when high waters take over the city.

Hue Help is certainly providing a great service. Yeah Can is pleased to have been able to help a little towards this worthwhile cause. Well done Hue Help. Check their new site here.

Friends of Hue

One of the first web design projects for Team Yeah Can. Friends of Hue a non-profit serving people living in and around Hue, central Vietnam needed a new web design. The purpose was to inform sponsors about their work and try and encourage visitors to support projects.

The Foundation had amazing images on file and it was decided to use these images in the best possible way to demonstrate the work done by the various divisions. Larger than most images shown on websites, the Director and staff were willing to take a chance on a different design concept and approved the look.

Great designs are more often the result of clients being willing to think outside of their box. This time for the Friends of Hue site this worked beautifully.

Yeah Can has been involved in the shop design of its favourite client Hope Center. Hope Center was Yeah Can’s first client. A pro bona one. Social responsibility before making money. Good approach.

From logo design to web design for Hope Center was always on the cards. But designing the interior fittings for a shop? That was a new one. But then team Yeah Can will not hide from any challenge!

At this stage of the development of the shop space the floor has been redone, the bamboo side walls and ceiling completed and painted with white oil based paint, the spotlights and fans put up and now the shelving units are in place.

The awning also received its branding as the brand police force is slowly implementing the same look everywhere. It’s a slow process with the office still sending out documents without the logo. But constant reminders will work there too.

The last decorative element will be the photographs above the shelving unit. These will show the Hope Center’s artisans working at handicraft production as well as the weaving crew and sewing teams. The photographic montage will be the only colour in an otherwise white decor.

It’s been designed to give the products and the photos of the members of Hope Center the spotlight. They are after all the important folk here.

A vibrant football club based in London and serving kids, both boys and girls, needed a new web design for its non-profit organisation. The club fields many teams, offers info on scores, awards, coaching staff and runs academies all with the help of volunteers.

The website ended up being quite large. At the same time it needed to look compact and easy to navigate by parents, kids and volunteers. Important sections were awards, images of kids playing and receiving trophies as well as scores of games.

It was also important that the site would be easy to maintain by the volunteers appointed to assist in keeping the site up to date with team information and results of games. WordPress was chosen to provide the content management system.

Learn Like Lerato is a South African company specialising in providing educational material to schools. Yeah Can picked up on the already well established branding and incorporated the fun graphics into the web design.  The site appeals to both educators, parents as well as students.

Yeah Can has several years experience in the field of web design for education having worked on major learning resource sites in the past. This particular site will incorporate an online shop in the future and all shopping pages have been designed. The design of the online shop component of Learn Like Lerato will reflect the fun brand of the organisation and will be a valuable part of the entire site.
